Jamie started playing bagpipes in 1991 and grew up playing with the Dunedin Highland Middle School, and Dunedin High School pipe bands. In 1998 he attended the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. For last 27 years jamie have been an active member of the City of Dunedin Pipe Band.

I excelled quickly and began competing as a soloist and with bands. In high school, I played for Tampa Bay Pipe Band and continued to hone my piping skills learning from Scottish and Canadian bagpiping masters.
