Blaskapelle Milwaukee has become one of the premiere European wind ensembles in the United States! Our band is comprised of 18 unique and talented musicians from Wisconsin and Illinois. We perform for a variety of events including: Oktoberfest celebrations, private and corporate parties, and German festivals.
In 2011, we had the honor of performing at Miller Park for "German Heritage Day" which was hosted by the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB). In 2015, we headlined the first-annual Oktoberfest at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis, MO. In 2016, we made our second appearance at the nationally recognized St. Charles Oktoberfest in St. Charles, MO, and performed for the first-ever HOGtoberfest Bike Night at the Harley-Davidson Museum®. In 2017 we had the privilege of performing for the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company's 150th Anniversary celebration!
We are currently in the process of recording our sophomore album, and planning for a European tour! In 2019, feature performances include our eighth appearance at the Chippewa Falls Oktoberfest in Chippewa Falls, WI, as well as our seventh appearance at the incomparable German Christmas Market of Oconomowoc.
We draw our style and inspiration from the finest bands across Europe and the United States. Such groups include Dorf Kapelle, Viera Blech, Blaskapelle Gloria, Fegerländer, and Ernst Mosch.
