Chicago Street Strings (or 'ChiSS' pronounced /Shy-S-S/) began as a busking duet on the city streets during the summer of 2012. We have since evolved into a group of passionate and dedicated professional musicians available for many types of events such as weddings and cocktail hours. Our goal is to provide others with creative, affordable, & enjoyable music of all kinds. We have a roster of talented musicians that can play anything from Bach to the Beatles, from Irish Jigs to Bon Jovi, and the list goes on. We specialize in wedding music, live performance, and recording sessions and are available for hire in many different ensemble combinations for all types of projects and events in need of strings or horns!
