Talon McKinney is a Chicago based saxophonist, performer, and founder of McKinney Music LLC, one of the Midwest’s emerging leaders in live wedding and corporate entertainment. Known for his dynamic tone, soulful improvisation, and ability to read any crowd, Talon delivers premium live music experiences for weddings, corporate events, cocktail hours, and private parties across Chicago, Illinois, and the Midwest.
With deep roots in gospel music and a seamless evolution into jazz, R&B, and soul, Talon’s sound reflects both his church foundation and his refined artistry. Performing as both a one-man saxophone show and in the acclaimed husband-and-wife sax duo MaritalSax 🎷❤️🔥🎷 (1st in the world) with his wife Len’I, he brings a rare chemistry to every stage. Their sets effortlessly blend jazz, classic soul, and modern grooves, creating an unforgettable connection with every audience.
From Stevie Wonder classics and contemporary hits by PJ Morton to jazz standards like “Misty” and “Spain” by Chick Corea, Talon’s performances combine artistry, precision, and feeling.
